Zippy's mother died in the hospital in 2005. After she passed away Zippy remained in the hospital for 6 months as no one claimed her. She was very sick and when she came to us she was suffering from TB, malnutrition, throat and ear infections, and also in the last stages of AIDS. I went to live at MIA on the 3rd of February 2006.
