Mission in Action 2 - Nyota HomeNyota is a joint project with Mission in Action (MIA). Founded in 2005, MIA operates the Nakuru Baby Orphanage and has legal guardianship of 30 babies and small children who were either orphaned or abandoned with no family to care for them. The baby orphanage was started by Ivan and Mary Budulica, an Australian couple. MIA employs 20 Kenyan staff, providing employment and self-sufficiency to them and their families and benefiting more people from the community. The home is a registered charity with the Kenyan Children’s Services Department and operates to the highest standard. Play KenyaPlay Kenya is dedicated to emotionally supporting many of the traumatised children living in orphanages in Kenya.
Kenya HealthKenya Health is an organisation dedicated to the provision of health care to women and young children in Kenya who otherwise have very limited access to medical care.
Castle DesignCastle Design has over 5 years experience working with many different charities, providing them with promotional material, logos, websites and helping with all their social networking needs!
AfricateAfricate is a clothing initiative conceived in Eastern Africa and born in Australia. The purpose of the label is to depict true African events of the past and present represented by a by young international designers. These designers are artists from South Africa, Sweden, New Zealand and Australia all working on unique designs with unique purposes.
Miss HaideeMiss Haidee offers her delightful signature vintage dresses and tops/tunics for girls from birth to 12 years of age, they are keepers, beautifully made from vintage embroidery and exquisite linens. Miss Haidee often sends suitcases full of her beautiful clothing to Kenya for our children to enjoy. Lucky kids! Little Paper LaneLittle Paper Lane is a wonderful supporter of Mission in Action. They are a paper boutique located in Mona Vale on Sydney's Northern Beaches. They stock beautiful products from around the world and from our very own backyard! They have notebooks, specialty wrapping paper, greeting cards, wax seals, children's gifts and much much more!
